The Hellenic Innovation & Infrastructure Fund (HIIF) is Greece’s new sovereign investment platform and Growthfund’s new investment arm. HIIF is designed to mobilise private capital into strategic sectors that power Greece’s transformation - driving innovation, accelerating the green transition, and strengthening the country’s resilience.
With a seed capital of €300 million and ambitions to scale significantly, HIIF operates with commercial independence, rigorous governance, and global investment discipline. Its mission is to act as a catalyst for long-term growth, co-investing with leading partners and mobilising capital into high-impact areas such as digital infrastructure, renewable energy, the circular and blue economy, and advanced logistics.

HIIF was incorporated in July 2025 in compliance with Greek Law 5131/2024.

The Hellenic Innovation & Infrastructure Fund operates independently, with its own governance bodies, management team and investment capabilities, whilst remaining at an arm’s length from the Government to ensure alignment with national strategic priorities.
